- Northfleet Works is to close as a cement manufacturing plant
in 2008. Lafarge will continue to supply its customers in the
South East through other UK works, mainly Hope, and other plants
in the Lafarge European network. Further supplies will be handled
at a new terminal being built at Northfleet and through a terminal
we purchased in 2005 at West Thurrock.
